About the AOH

The Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) was founded in New York City in 1836. The AOH is an International Irish-Catholic Fraternal Organization. Its mission is best reflected in its motto:

"Friendship, Unity, and Christian Charity."

About Dean Michael Barry Division 1

The Dean Michael Barry Division was founded in Oswego, New York in 1903. The Division purchased its Clubhouse home on 22 Munn Street in 1969.

Practicing Roman Catholics that are Irish by birth or descent are welcome to apply for regular membership. The Division also welcomes others to apply as social members.

Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians (LAOH)

Practicing Roman Catholic woman of Irish descent by birth are eligible to apply to be members of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians. The LAOH is a seperate organization that also meets at the Clubhouse at 22 Munn Street.
